Eyes That Refuse to See

Eyes That Refuse to See
They stared as if I were air,
a shadow passing through their sight.
Their gaze — cold, unwelcoming,
their silence sharper than words.
Bitter eyes, sour hearts,
minds tangled in envy’s thread.
They sip lies like sweet wine,
forgetting truth burns brighter.
I walk through their storm untouched,
for light does not beg to be seen.
Their blindness is their burden —
mine is the grace of being real.
Quote
Jealous hearts see shadows even when you stand in light.
