There was a moment of silence,

no sound, no movement, no words

a hush so deep it swallowed thought,

a quiet that weighed upon the soul.

Then came a stranger’s voice,

rising against the wind’s command.

It carried power, raw and unshaken,

a force that pierced the still air.

A sudden sound, a spark of life,

curiosity stirred within my chest.

I turned around, drawn by wonder,

to meet the echo that broke the void.
