The Weight of Rain
The thunder roared,
the lightning flashed,
the rain kept pouring,
the rivers rising fast.
Oh, what a rainy day it is,
water climbs,
floods everywhere,
hearts heavy with despair.
The air feels burdened,
pressed by the storm,
the wind stood still,
if only for a moment’s form.
Yet within the silence,
a whisper remains —
that even the fiercest flood
will one day wane.
Quote
Storms may drown the earth in sorrow, but every flood recedes — leaving behind the strength of survival.
