Treasures Found in Patience
Life often feels like a storm that refuses to pass. We walk through days filled with uncertainty, pain, and the unseen burdens of others. Yet, patience is not passive — it is the quiet strength that allows us to endure without surrendering to bitterness.
When we choose to walk patiently, we open ourselves to treasures that cannot be measured in gold or fame. These treasures are peace of mind, compassion, and the ability to love without condition. Hatred, envy, and jealousy are heavy stones that weigh down the spirit, but when we release them, we make space for God’s light to enter.
The troubled world will always exist, but so will the possibility of grace. Keeping the heart open to God and pure love transforms silence into strength, and struggle into wisdom. The treasure is not far away — it is found in the way we live, forgive, and love.
Poem:
Walk Patiently
Walk patiently, child of light,
through shadows deep and long,
for every step in silence
is shaping you strong.
The world may bruise and burden,
its trials sharp and cold,
but treasures bloom in secret
for hearts that still hold.
Release the chains of envy,
let hatred fade away,
and love will guide your footsteps
to dawn’s eternal day.
Quote
Walk patiently through this troubled world, and you will find great treasure, as long as you keep your heart open to God, and pure love, and rid yourself of hatred, envy, and jealousy.
