Unworn Paths

Unworn Paths
They judge with eyes unseeing,
casting shadows where light should be.
They think they know the story,
but never touched the scars in me.
And maybe they never will.
They speak of roads I’ve traveled,
yet their feet have never bled.
They claim to know my journey,
but never walked where I have led.
My path has never been theirs.
So let them whisper, let them stare,
their voices fade, their truths are thin.
For only those who’ve borne the weight
can know the strength that lies within.
Quote
No one can measure your journey by the steps they never dared to take.
